Reviewing Methodologies

During the Methodology Review we will work with you to optimise the use of your current design and manufacturing technologies. We will provide you with a detailed report outlining the current situation and identifying issues and opportunities to increase the effectiveness of the tools deployed.
Reviewing Engineering Processes
Engineering data is a valuable business asset. With relentless demands to increase quality and reduce lead times it is essential that you are able to access its full value. The volume of data is mushrooming and the people who need to view it are distributed right across the organisation. The challenge is to get the right information to the right person, at the right time and in the right format.
Successful companies will innovate faster and shorten their time to market. To make this happen requires changes to the engineering process supported by a common view of up-to-date information. We call this ‘Collaborative Engineering'.
Building on the Methodology Review the Engineering Process Review examines how design and manufacturing information is managed, distributed and used within and beyond the CAD/CAM function. We will present a detailed report showing where information resides and how it needs to be accessed in the context of issue control, engineering change, bills of material and configuration management.
Implementation
Our expert implementation teams will begin by preparing the ground for the installation of both systems hardware and application software. They will schedule and co-ordinate on-site and off-site system build and configuration, testing and user training requirements. They will ensure that you experience a smooth transition between system installation, application training and legacy data migration, ensuring minimum disturbance and maximum productivity.
We will install and configure your systems and get you connected to the rest of your network infrastructure and other shared resources. Our engineers are familiar with the appropriate versions, drivers, patches and environments to optimise the performance of your computing environments.
In addition to this installation process, we will continue to work closely with you on the full deployment and roll-out of applications and data across your business processes, to ensure that key milestones and business objectives defined and set during the consulting and planning phases are met in total.
